The Geography of the American Lands

You already know that the inclination of the Earth causes seasons. The Americas are located in three different climate regions:

Tropical = Region between the Tropicas of Cancer and Capricorn, including the torrid zone of Darien and Amazonian jungles.

Temperate = Region between the Tropicas and the Polar Circles.

Glacial = Polar Circle zones.

Read pages 46-47 in your textbook. Then,  do excercise #1  page 27 in your workbook.
